about Human RITHM

Following experience in high performance data science positions with several elite baseball organizations, including the Tampa Bay Rays, Philadelphia Phillies, and Clemson University, Connor Moore founded Human RITHM to broaden the reach of the principles that support high performance. Connor is now a PhD student in Bioengineering at Clemson University, where he is a research assistant in the Human Movement Biomechanics Lab (HuMBL) under Dr. Reed Gurchiek and leader of the Baseball and Softball Analytics group under Dr. Jason Avedesian. His primary responsibilities are to develop and maintain pipelines that store and analyze human performance data from various sources, including TrackMan and OpenCap. His dissertation research focuses on creating a novel method to estimate pitching workload by using deep learning to infer throwing arm biomechanics from ball tracking release metrics.
